Firm and hydrate skin, while protecting it from environmental damage. Moisturizers keep complexions healthy by replenishing naturally occurring skin lipids and improving moisture retention.

Choose the right moisturizer for your skin type. If you have oily skin or you are prone to breakouts, choose a moisturizer that is oil-free and non-comedogenic. Non-comedogenic moisturizers are much less likely to clog the pores and cause breakouts. Dry skin is different from other skin conditions because of the exceptionally low level of sebum produced and released by the oil glands. Choose a moisturizer rich in lipids that provides a layer of oil on the surface of the skin to slow water loss through evaporation and thus increase the moisture content of the skin.
